Welcome to the Rt. 230 Church’s website! Since you’re here, we hope you’re considering visiting us. We know that visiting a church for the first time is not an easy thing for many people, so let us tell you what to expect.
First of all, we’re not a large church, although we are growing. Sometimes small churches can be uncomfortable to visit because you feel that everyone is staring at you and that they all know each other (or are related) and you’re likely sitting in Aunt Bertha’s seat! Rest assured, Rt. 230 is not that kind of small church!
During our worship we want you to feel comfortable and at home so we try to provide an atmosphere that is casual and friendly. You are welcome to join in our worship or sit back and enjoy. We sing, pray, read scripture, and listen to a Bible message. We also have a simple communion service each week that you are free to participate in if you choose. Our singing is led by a dynamic praise team, and there is often laughter and clapping as well as quieter times of prayer and contemplation.
